Create a domain account for Analysis Services in Dynamics Axapta

Create a domain account specifically for Analysis Services. The account must: Be a dedicated account (used only for Analysis Services). Have minimal access to network resources. Have read access to the Microsoft Dynamics AX online transaction processing (OLTP)

database.

After you create the domain account, complete the following procedure to configure Analysis services to run as this account.

1. Open the Services window (Start > Administrative Tools > Services).

2. Right-click the SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER) service and click Properties.

3. In the properties window, click the Log On tab.

4. Select the This account option.

5. Enter the name and password for the domain account that you created.

6. Click OK.
