Sales Order Posting Options

Quotation/Confirmation
Posting creates a report-style record of the sales order details. There is no ledger posting and no movement  of inventory.

Picking List/Picking List Registration
 Posting checks inventory for availability and can reserve physical inventory. Posting can also check credit limit availability.

Packing Slip Posting
deducts from physical inventory, corresponding GL entries are made, and delivery information is updated
if entered.

Invoice Posting
deducts from financial inventory and corresponding GL entries are made.
